Eight-year-old Adil's wish to have a party with his friends and family marked the end of months of aggressive treatment for leukaemia. Intense chemotherapy meant that young Adil lost his hair and had to endure "lots of ups and downs". After spending half his life in hospital, Adil, from Kensal Green, simply wished to be reunited with his school friends to celebrate his recovery and have fun!
Adil's wish has been granted, but there are many more children in Greater London who are still waiting for their wish. So we're asking for your help.
When a child is diagnosed with a critical condition, it changes their life and the lives of their families forever. For them, the joy of childhood is brought to an abrupt end.
