"Miracle child" Eloise, from Attleborough in Norfolk, was not expected to survive for more than 12 months - let alone become a teenager. But against all odds, she did. A diagnosis of DiGeorge syndrome resulted in a range of complications for Eloise, including a shortened life expectancy. Her wish to celebrate her 13th birthday in style was extra precious as she was able to celebrate defying the odds-  throwing a party for all her friends and family. Lockdown meant her wish was delayed by a year, but it was still "just wow!"

Eloise's wish has been granted, but there are many more children in the East of England who are still waiting for their wish. So we're asking for your help.

When a child is diagnosed with a critical condition, it changes their life and the lives of their families forever. For them, the joy of childhood is brought to an abrupt end.
